Financial Literacy Teachers & Bank Volunteers: Monthly Webinar on Teaching Financial Literacy for K12 Students
Monthly Webinar on Teaching Financial Literacy for K12 Students
Offered the 4th Monday of every month from 5:30-6:30PM Eastern, starting September 28th and ending May 24th
In this free, very practical monthly online seminar offered by Bank On New Hampshire, we’ll explore ways to make learning financial literacy highly engaging and meaningful for oftentimes “omniverous, eye-rolling” K12 students. This academic year-long seminar, co-facilitated by (Manchester) West High School principal Rick Dichard and experienced financial literacy educator Tricia Van Vugt, will focus on sharing effective strategies and resources for getting kids excited about these skills.
This webinar is for current and future K12 teachers who are or expect to be teaching financial literacy for K12 students as well as for bank volunteers that plan to partner with schoolteachers to get kids excited about mastering important financial literacy skills. Those who complete the monthly webinar series will receive a microcredential in Teaching Financial Literacy for K12 Students, offered by NCDE’s Bank On New Hampshire coalition, in partnership with the NH School Administrators Association.
